Greetings from *Pronekt Inc!!* We have an excellent requirement for you please let me know your availability for below position. *Hyperion Essbase Solutions Architect* *Location: Sunnyvale, CA* *Length: 12+ months* *Responsibilities: * -Develop and configure Hyperion Planning application components including databases, rules, calculation scripts, reports and security -Design and develop reporting and database solutions that leverage data from Hyperion Planning and other financial systems -Design database tables and integrations as well as write complex database queries for display in a variety of formats -Write, maintain and enhance calculation scripts to optimize Hyperion performance including data uploads, data exports and data transfers to various scenarios -Define standards and procedures and refine methods and techniques for data extraction, transformation and loading with ODI/ETL, Oracle PL/SQL or related tools -Write Technical specification, conduct specification walk-thru and participate in business requirement and functional design specification walk-thru -Provide data analysis, troubleshoot and optimize applications as necessary *Requirements:* - BS or MS in related field - 5+ years of experience in development within the Hyperion product set, specifically Essbase. -Hands on expertise developing Planning applications and native Essbase cubes. Must understand dimensionality and optimizations needed to build enterprise-level applications. -Expert level of knowledge around scripting automation for native Essbase and Planning applications. -Experience with at least one Hyperion Planning Process implementation. -Specific experience with Smart View -Comprehensive understanding of relational and multi-dimensional databases (such as OLAP), data warehouse, and data model is required -Knowledge of using relational database engines such as Oracle or similar databases -Good communication skills -Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and adapt -Functional understanding of Accounting, Finance, Planning and Budgeting. *Key requirements:* Hyperion Essbase expertise. Must be able to drive things in a complex environment. There are two kinds of complexities – one is the environment, where they will be able to handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced dynamic. The second complexity refers to the solution that this person will be building. They will be working with huge data sets and lots of complexities in the data, and will need to come up with the right solutions that will address all of these complexities and the scale of the data. Additionally they need to have experience leading a team (not manager experience, but lead experience). They need to have experience working with onshore and offshore groups. Be able to the guide the team and yet stay hands-on. Take care of the coding.
