Role: Backend Engineers/Sr. Platform Engineer/PHP developer Location: Redwood City California Duration: 6-12 Months - 5+ years’ experience of server-side software development experience. - LAMP Stack - Java - AWS - Not a heavy Windows exp. - Consumer facing web apps - 5+ years’ experience of server-side software development experience. - Solid Computer Sciences skills. - Must understand the core principles of OO design & development and how to apply them in a highly scaled environment. - Experience working in a Distributed/Cloud-based environment (e.g. Amazon EC2, GCE, Rackspace, Azure, etc.). - Experience in cloud deployments and performance tuning of distributed systems. - Deep understanding of good software design patterns mixed with a healthy passion for refactoring and keeping things simple. - Experience owning and maintaining critical Web Services. - Deep knowledge of concurrency, resiliency, caching, HTTP and REST. - BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. - *Familiarity with technical aspects of a variety of video and audio file formats.(Nice to have)* - *Excellent understanding of video/audio streaming technologies (HLS, DASH, Smooth Streaming).(Nice to have)* - *Knowledge of data analytics.
