*JOB DESCRIPTION* :
*ScrumMaster*

We are seeking an exceptionally talented Scrum Master to provide effective
collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and set a powerful example for the
team. We need an individual that puts the team before themselves. They will
be responsible for enforcing the rules of Scrum, removing impediments from
their team while promoting self-management and constantly improving our
work standards.



*Responsibilities:*

Own, advocate, and teach Agile (scrum) processes, ensuring that the team is
always following the framework and looking for opportunities to
continuously improve.

·         Protect the team from outside interference, removing impediments,
and ensuring that the work is delivered as a team.

·         Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up
meetings, Sprint reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning and
other Scrum-related meetings

·         Track and communicate sprint/release progress via information
radiators. Ensure all information radiators are current and broadly
available.

·         Be a team-player with the ability to work within a collaborative
environment

·         Support the Team

o    Ensure the development team is practicing the core agile principles of
collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility

o    Cultivate an environment of trust, good faith, empowerment and
creativity.

o    Empower the team to self organize.

o    Identify and remove impediments and prevent distractions.

o    Introduce, drive and continuously improve team delivery via technical
best practices and Engineering practices used in Extreme Programing (i.e.
automated testing, refactoring, pair programming, test driven development,
and continuous integration).

o    Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards,
tools, and best practices

o    Facilitate good retrospectives fostering team growth.

o    Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution.

o    Facilitate good sprint planning, helping the team make appropriate
commitments through story sizing and task definition.

·         Support the Product Owner

o    Facilitate Product Backlog maintenance, Release and Sprint Planning.

o    Work with the Product Owner to maximize ROI and attainment of project
objectives.

o    Identify and advocate for prioritization of technical debt work.

Certification (SAFe)
