If Interested kindly send me your updated profile with Contact / Rate info to *pa...@advnj.com* * Role: WebSphere Message Broker Systems Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: 8 months + Contract* Responsibilities: Responsible for administration and support of all WebSphere Message Broker and MQSeries system implementation Responsible for developing and executing project plans, as well as coordinating groups of IT staff Develops, implements, and manages standards for corporate software solutions (e.g., Tivoli, Marimba, etc.), hardware (e.g., desktops, notebooks, PDAs, etc.) and servers (Windows and Unix-based) Provides 3rd level support to IT teams Supports migration efforts to new platforms or solutions Provides engineering and technical support to business application development groups Assesses hardware, software, tools, applications, etc., to support business operations Serves as point of escalation for complex issues Proven experience in managing software systems, hardware solutions, and/or enterprise servers, as appropriate Experience in supporting corporate migration efforts, and transitions to and from different systems Ability to understand business unit requirements and apply technical solutions which are high-quality and cost-effective Provides direct technical support for all WMB and MQ system software, as well as the program products and utilities that support it Evaluates and implements new initiatives on process improvement and technology initiatives Serves as initial point of escalation for processing and operational issues Serves as SME in operating systems software Provides mentoring and training to staff Assists management in coordinating business area activities and balancing workload May design, implement and improve workflows Supports interdepartmental or interdivisional operational project initiatives Proactively stays current on emerging technologies * * Required Skills/Background: External certification in relevant field of expertise (e.g., Microsoft, Blackberry, etc.) Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field 6 plus years of IT work experience in systems programming /systems administration 6 plus years experience in WebSphere implementation, configuration and integration Previous experience working in a financial services environment Typically experienced across multiple Information Technology areas and operating systems Completely adept at understanding and executing the details across multiple operations functions within the infrastructure Excellent technical and problem solving abilities Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills -- Thanks Pavan Bandaru* pa...@advnj.com* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
