If we can find developers exposed to a fire or EMS (emergency) system - that would be ideal, but it's not required as they understand industry-specific knowledge is able to be trained and this would be a tough find. Currently - it sounds like location is not a constraint. The developer needs to sit here in *Des Moines* for the work....but if we bring him/her in from *Minneapolis**, Chicago, etc....*they are open to that arrangement. Preference is *Des Moines/local* today...but with the critical mass they are looking to hire....they will go outside the area. · 5+ years experience in software development particularly in .NET framework 2.0 and beyond and C# · Experiences in using Microsoft Visual Studio IDE (2005 and beyond) · Experience with MS SQL Server 2005 and beyond from Application development standpoint (not DBA) · Strong working knowledge of WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and WCF (Windows Communications Foundation) implementation. · Good working knowledge of object-oriented design · Understand UML modeling and specification, at least use case and class diagrams.
