*Data Modeler role for IMF* *Location: Columbus, OH* *Duration: 6 Months+* *Job Description:* Role will be primarily responsible for data analysis for data-centric projects. Resource must be very strong in data profiling and data modeling. Profiling is the ability to consume data from disparate sources and determine if that information is sufficient to satisfy the business requirements. This includes querying data repositories to determine level of data quality and completeness, analyzing new sources of data to determine fitness, form and transformation rules necessary for merging into target repositories. Candidate must be comfortable with visualization techniques and report generation necessary for the presentation of data necessary to communicate to stakeholders, such as business partners and technical team, the conclusions and recommendations based the state of the data being analyzed. The individual must also have the ability to develop conceptual/logical and physical models most appropriately needed to satisfy the business requirements. The Requirements Analyst translates business and system needs into Solution Requirements for Designers, Developers and Testers to consume and uses Requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, verification and management techniques for the purpose. Requirements Analysts are engaged in work efforts at all scales ranging from minor defect fixes and enhancements to development of new applications. They are also involved in all types of solution approaches (custom development, package implementation etc.) and solution domains (business applications, data warehouses, web services, infrastructure etc.) Contributes overall strategic vision of the organization and integrates a broad range of ideas and initiatives regarding IT Analysis. Serves as the top level technical contributor and lead for the most complex IT analysis initiatives. Recognized across the organization for IT analysis expertise. Undertakes the most complex IT analysis issues on projects involving high risk to the organization or that have an impact to multiple business units. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. With expert knowledge, develops or modifies the most complex information systems. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system log difficulties as necessary. Guides and advises less-experienced analysts .
