Job Title: SAP Basis/PLM Lead Location: Danvers, MA Duration: 3 Months Position responsibilities include: Developing cost-effective IT solutions by creating new and modifying existing SAP software applications Coordinating with users to determine requirements Developing system improvements for increased efficiency Creating prototypes. Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements SAP software applications. Candidate must be able to manage a technical upgrade project, including the following: Planning/scheduling the upgrade timeline Coordinating testing with the project team Researching/debugging technical issues including: o opening/managing tickets with SAP support o applying corrective actions such as OSS notes and kernel patches as needed Familiarity with debugging security issues related to upgrades, identifying additional security authorizations that may be needed in existing job role definitions Qualifications Education: BS/BA plus minimum 5 yrs relevant experience required. Experience 5 years SAP Basis experience, with focus on the following areas: System upgrades Support package application Familiarity with release planning / product availability matrix Must be familiar with: SAP Business Objects (administration and upgrade) SAP PLM 7.0 SAP MDG SAP NWBC IBM Power 7AIX experience a plus Familiarity with high availability disaster recovery planning scenarios a plus Please respond with you *consultant resume*, *contact*, *rate *and *current location* info to speed up the interview process.
