IT Specialist Prod Support 12 months+ Provide technical assistance to computer system users or development teams. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote location. May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems. May perform research, testing, and documentation. Education, Certification, and Relevant Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years relevant work experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to work in geographically dispersed teams. Ability to manage competing priorities. Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrates the ability to follow direction and produce expected results. Readily adapts to new systems and processes. Preferred work experience in retail grocery. Physical Requirements: Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment. Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal. Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday. Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties. May include on-call duties during non-business hours. Ability to indentify recurring issues and provide visibility and possible recommendation through a Problem management process to a Tier 3 Support team.
