It’s a 9-12 month contract role. Let me know if you have any consultants available! * *Tasks to be Performed* *• Build s DB structure (e.g. Design schemas. Build tables, FKs, PKs on local DBs created by system DBA) that meets the business/application needs. • Provide PDW DB consultant service to data layer developers who are responsible for merging data from multiple sources into a data warehouse. Design and implement physical warehouse, but cleans, standardizes, and scrubs data before loading. • Build queries, stored procedures, etc. that meet business/application needs. Ensure that the application is fully optimized for the database and vice versa. • Provide Application/Project security requirement to System DBA and maintain Application level database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges). • Application DB tuning and performance monitoring. • Establish Application/project backup and recovery policies and procedures, and work with system DBA to implement it.
