Hive, Pig, Hbase, Spark, Storm, Impala Avro, ORC, Parquet Multi-terabytes of data from RDBMS, iSeries, Cloud and other Streams MapReduce, Hive, Pig and Hbase setting up and running Hadoop clusters Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Teradata *Job Description: Total Experience : 12 – 15 years* At least 3- 5 years of experience in architecting and developing Hadoop solution using Cloudera. Experience in Hadoop MapR. • Demonstrated experience in variety of technologies within Hadoop eco-system such as Hive, Pig, Hbase, Spark, Storm, Impala • Demonstrated experience in various data storage mechanisms such as Avro, ORC, Parquet • Experience in moving Multi-terabytes of data from RDBMS, iSeries, Cloud and other Streams • Hands-on experience in Java MapReduce, Hive, Pig and Hbase • Working knowledge of setting up and running Hadoop clusters • Knowledge on how to create and debug Hadoop jobs • Consulting background and/or comfort in working with customers • Demonstrated experience gathering and understanding customer business requirements • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts • Knowledge of distributed systems • Knowledge of complex data pipelines and ETL • Knowledge of common ETL packages / libraries • Understanding of configuration management systems (e.g. Puppet, Chef) and concepts behind mass configuration • General Knowledge and Experience with one or more of the following: o One or more of Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Teradata o Common IPC/RPC methods and patterns o High availability and business continuity o Queuing patterns and pipeline design o Batch operations o Messaging systems and patterns o File system design o Optimization and troubleshooting Must have Cloudera Architect experience.
