*Experience Required*

   - Six years or more, working in a support and administrative capacity,
   responsible for a major IT infrastructure technology asset, such as
   operating system or hardware.
   - One or more relevant technical certifications on various IT
   disciplines, i.e. VCP, MCP, MCSE
   - Has consistently demonstrated and applied analytical skills and
   problem solving skills.
   - Experience working in a support capacity within IT infrastructure,
   working and communicating with various team members and other teams, in a
   collaborative environment.
   - Experience with producing quality detailed documentation on work
   undertaken and activities planned.
   - Experience working in an environment where controls are in place,
   including familiarity with change control process, SDLC, and standard
   operating procedures, and familiarity with project management cycles.
   - Five years or more of experience with installation, configuration,
   administration, and maintenance of Windows Operating systems, including
   Windows Server (2003, 2008).
   - Working knowledge and concepts of Windows 2012 server platform.
   Experience with Hyper-V a plus, but not required.
   - Five years or more of experience with installation, configuration,
   administration, and maintenance of VMware VSphere ESXi (4.x, 5.x),
   including server provisioning from templates, clustering principles,
   orchestration, and best practices of VMware technology.
   - Experience with HP and Cisco UCS blade server technology is desired.
   - Experience with converged infrastructure technology such as VCE vBlock
   is preferred.
   - Experience with Citrix XenApp version 5 through 6.5 is preferred.
   - Experience with Windows directory services (Active Directory) is
   preferred.
   - Experience with Suse Linux preferred (hypervisor support level only)
   is preferred.


*Roles & Responsibilities*

   1. Work closely with customer’s Senior Infrastructure Lead and service
   provider onshore and offshore extended teams, to see through execution of
   activities in support of a specific set of infrastructure systems that are
   vital to the organization’s daily business operations.
   2. Work on various systems maintenance activities including software and
   hardware upgrades.  Work with the teams responsible for the technology to
   plan out system upgrades and other major upgrade initiatives.
   3. Work as level 2 support on open incidents to troubleshoot any new and
   ongoing system issues, together with service provider level 1 support team,
   communicating closely with support teams from other areas of technology
   when necessary, and escalating to customer’s level 1 when appropriate,
   towards resolution of the incident within prescribed service level
   agreements, and beyond incident closure on root cause analysis activities
   when necessary.
   4. Report to service provider, learning and adopting any best practices
   and standard procedures already set in place through service provider’s
   relationship with customer, including any knowledge transfer on time
   tracking systems and organizational structure.
