Activities would include: · Develop and/or debug functional validation tests to verify system will meet Intel specifications. · Create test plans for RTL validation, defining and running system emulation models, and finding and implementing corrective measures for failing tests. · Analyzes and uses results to modify testing to find solutions – either RTL bug fixes, software/firmware workarounds, or documented errata. *Job Responsibilities Include:* · Write verification test plans, and associated tests to execute those plans. · Debug failing tests, then work with designers and architects to resolve bugs. · Successful Validation Engineers can anticipate failure modes, and write punishing test content to stress the design and identify bugs. · Analyze coverage gaps and devise strategies to fill coverage holes.
