The Java Developer – Big Data applies expertise in big data technologies to make this data actionable for users of the platform and for targeting and optimization features in the platform. This position requires a strong understanding of database concepts and design; the ability to design, implement, and manage systems that meet stringent requirements for scalability, performance, availability, cost effectiveness, and data quality; and a proven track record of delivering superior work on schedule. Development work will include ETL facilities, integration of data from various sources into the platform, and delivery of data through querying, caching, and/or messaging to various consumers.
