Angular 2 / JavaScript is a very strong plus and Linux / C layer is a nice to have. A large portion of the client team works on the current version of the product line which is Linux / C based but I do have some members that are familiar to expert on Java tech which is why they have the “willing to mentor” line in the job description means “willing to mentor client’s existing engineering team in Java”. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Work with other senior members of the team to create and implement the architecture for the next generation environmental monitoring solution. · Collaborate with other team members in an agile scrum environment · Ensure that the product development team adheres to the defined architecture · Design, code and unit test new features, enhancements and defect fixes for our data center products · Communicate the architecture to senior management, stakeholders and the development team · Mentor other members of the team and work with an open mind to learn from others *QUALIFICATIONS:* · Experience designing products through several full product development cycles. · Expert knowledge of Java (J2SE) technologies including frameworks such as Spring, RESTful APIs, Jetty · Willing to help mentor a team with a mixed background in Java · Knowledge of Java unit test frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG and JMockit/Mockito · Knowledge of element and network management concepts and protocols (SNMP). · Knowledge of Linux-based databases such as PostgreSQL · Knowledge of appliance security techniques (such as iptables, API security, WEB security, and authentication/authorization) · TCP/IP and related IP protocols · Knowledge of Linux-based application development · Good communication skills (written and verbal) · 5+ years’ experience with software development with architecture experience. · Experience working with SCADA systems a strong plus. · BA/BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computing Science or equivalent, advanced degree a plus. · Knowledge of UI frameworks such as Angular a plus Thanks & Regards, Udbhav Mathur Talent Acquisition Specialist Email:- umat...@tekshapers.com <tar...@tekshapers.com> Gtalk: udbhav.intime Tekshapers Inc. – WMBE Firm 1441 E.
