Please go through the requirement and let me know your interest. *Pega Cloud Architect* *Location: Suitland, MD* *Duration: 1 year contract* *US Citizens and Green Card required* *Years of Experience: 14 years of experience with Bachelors; 12 years of experience with Masters* The Pega Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, validating and verifying a Pega 7.2.x deployment in a FedRAMP cloud environment in support of the 2020 Decennial Census. This individual works closely with the Pega eCase CEDCaP program, Technical Integrator infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud leads to insure the proper environment is defined and deployed to support and scale for 2018 end-to-end test and 2020 Decennial. *The individual holds Pega certifications as either a Senior System Architect or Lead System Architect and has demonstrable expertise in deploying Pega and/or other BPMS products in a cloud environment. FedRAMP cloud environment strongly preferred. * This individual participates in strategic planning and leads collaborative work efforts within business and IT units related to the deployment of the Pega solution to the cloud. This individual will work with other Pega Subject Matter Experts to ensure that resources, particularly cloud-based, are maximized and cost-efficient. *Responsibilities:* • Conducts reviews of all Pega architectural designs and decisions regarding eCase solution and impacts on cloud deployment. • Define the cloud architecture based on demand forecasts that will support the 2020 Decennial Census • Define the proper controls and mechanisms required for a successful cloud deployment • Support the performance testing of the Pega eCase solution in the cloud. • Provides input on evaluation, selection, implementation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure components, ensuring appropriate investment in strategic and operational systems. Provides responsive advice, counsel, education and service concerning cloud deployment issues and trends in the IT industry. • Work closely with CEDCaP and Decennial technical leadership to communicate finding, risks and remediation of proposed cloud strategies. • Communicates IT plans, policies and technology trends throughout the work unit.
