*Job Title: Distributed Developer*
Description:
The Distributed Developer project contractor will need to have at least 5
years of experience. He/she will have Java and JEE server-side development
skills with an understanding of Web Services architecture and design.
*Required Skills*
Must Have: Experience with Guidewire applications or similar P&C software
sysem
Experience with one of the following application servers: WebSphere,
WebLogic
Experience in Spring, Hibernate, Eclipse, RAD, BPM/Workflow, and Web
Services (Restful or SOAP) is a plus as well as a firm grasp of
architecture using the required tools/languages.
Experience gathering user requirements, writing design documents,
participating in JAD sessions and writing/executing unit and system tests
Experience in Java, JavaScript, JEE, JDBC, JSP, HTML and XML
Experience in SOA and Enterprise Integration Patterns
Proficient in development of code utilizing SQL Server along with
working with DBA to improve SQL Server processes like helping manage
Relational Integrity, Index Tuning, and Stored Procedure creation
Working knowledge of distributed test and production code deployments,
e.g. CVS, EAR
Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
Strong sense of ownership and commitment
Demonstrated skills in understanding complete application systems
Demonstrated leadership skills and supportive attitude
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and multi-task to
meet deadlines
