Position: Automotive /Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Detroit
Length: 6-months
Requirements:
1. Must have 3-5 yrs of embedded software design and implementation and
Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS)
experience. Should have have experience in one or more ADAS technology
area(s) as well as general experience
with embedded software including:
o Establish system architecture and design for ADAS systems including
sensors, HMI, actuators and ECUs.
o Work with customers to implement ADAS related algorithms.
o Develop and document functional and diagnostic requirements.
o Assist in developing hardware/software test plans.
o Assist in selecting software development tools.
2. Expert in C, C++ or JAVA language programing.
Must have 3-5 yrs of Firmware/Software programming in embedded on Linux/QNX
target.
{ Very strong knowledge of Linux, ARM processor architecture with
system-on-a-chip (SoC)
o Ability to perform software design for an embedded system and provide
sufficient documentation.
o Ability to develop code from software design.
o Ability to debug existing software.
o Ability to interpret circuit schematics.
o Able to develop specific test cases for all software requirements.
3. B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
or Electronics Engineering Technology (minimum)
4. Excellent team building, people and management skills.
5. Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
6. Must be self-starter, proactive and willing to learn and grow with the
business.
7. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
simultaneously.
8. Must demonstrate a hands-on approach, attention to detail and results
orientation.
