*Role: Data Architect* *Location: Pleasanton* *Duration: 6 Month Contract* *Rate : $64 /hr C2C* *Responsibilities:* · ETL design and development to support CBIA platform · Ensures that the BI and Data solution platform conforms to consistent architecture, methodologies, standards and industry best practices. · Architect, design and develop business functional specific semantic/metadata layer. · Effectively interact with the business community to gather and develop functional and technical requirements and translate those requirements into robust analytics and reporting solutions · Provides expert advice in the usage and interpretation of data for different business groups and required technical direction to resolve complex issues to ensure the on-time delivery of solutions that meet business expectations · Plans, organizes and develops data dictionary for all systems required. Defines and establishes data quality and data flow rules for required data transactions. Review, analyze, evaluate, and document business systems and user requirements. · Partner with cross functional business units to build solutions that solve critical data, reporting and analytical challenges thereby, support and improve the decision making process. · Serves as a subject matter expert and direct advisor to senior leaders in the organization. · Keeps abreast of technological changes and innovations in the BI and DW fields *Experience:* · 6-8 years of relevant experience in designing, developing and implementing solutions as Business Intelligence or Data Architect. · Expert level proficiency and experience in Oracle PL/SQL · Experience with ETL tools like ODI(preferred) · Experience with BI and OLAP; OBIEE, Business Objects or equivalent .
