Share profiles in Couple of hours Note : IDS/IPS , IBM ISS with site Protector experience Location : Groton, CT or Parsippany, NJ or Collegeville, PA or St. Louis or Kalamazoo MI Contract :6months Job Title *Network Intrusion Prevention Systems Engineer (NIPS)* Location Collegeville ,PA Experience Level 4 - 6 years Education Tools IBM-ISS- Siteprotector appliance Certifications CCNA/CCSA/JNCE/Cisco Pix/Cisco IPS Job Description Provisioning , Monitoring and Management of Firewall/Intrusion detection/Prevention System – IBM ISS site protector appliance Experience with Enterprise Intrusion Detection / Intrusion Prevention Systems ( IDS/IPS ) example IBM ISS or equivalent Experience with and knowledge of internet/intranet networking protocols and services Have knowledge on analyzing packet captures Administration of security related logs and events via console activity to determine cause of security related events or to identify potential security related risks Identify security incidents through log investigation, correlation and analysis Report and investigate on anomalies outside the expected norm Review of escalated / re assigned incident tickets and co-ordinate with resolver group for the implementation of solution Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Incident reporting and Analysis Reporting Skills, Operations skills in the above technologies in complex environments Other qualification Good communication skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve network/operating system security issues Ability to perform and interpret vulnerability assessments Ability to administer the operations of a security infrastructure Ability to balance and prioritize work Preferred experience: Leads and/or directs the efforts of specialists on project(s) across components and/or technical areas. Provides guidance and direction across components and acts in a consulting and/or advisory capacity. Reviews and approves the substance of reports, decisions, case documents, contracts, or other action documents to ensure they accurately reflect the policies and position of the organization and the views of the agency.
