· *Skills (ADVANCED/EXPERT):*
· Provide Oracle DBA support for CET Project as directed by
Technical Architecture Lead.
· Performance Tuning - Perform ongoing tuning of database instances
· Create and maintain databases required for DEV, TEST, DR, PROD,
and other environments as directed
· *Description:*
• Create and maintain databases required for DEV, TEST, DR, PROD, and
other environments as directed
• Backup and restore databases (e.g. hot/cold, active clone, flashback,
etc.)
• Execute post-clone DB procedures for CET Applications
• Perform ongoing tuning of database instances
• Administer database roles and security
• Administer database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes,
views, sequences, packages, and procedures
• Troubleshoot and support problems regarding database, applications,
and development tools.
• Evaluate Oracle releases and tools (patches, hotfixes, versions, etc.)
• Proficient in PL/SQL (variables, cursors, stored procedures,
parameters, triggers, exception handling, etc.)
· *Deliverables:*
-Process Flows
-Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members
-Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all
project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility
-Participate in data conversion and data maintenance
-Provide best practice and industry specific solutions
-Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions
-Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical
configuration/development as needed.
-Participate as a team member of the functional team
-Perform other duties as assigned.
