: Network Protocol Developer or Tester

*Relevant Experience (Yrs) *

3-5 years

*Technical/Functional Skills *

1.        Minimum 3-5 years with low-level embedded SW/ HW QA testing.
2.        Familiarity with SDK validation desirable
3.        Any experience with RFC1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) is
highly desirable. This standard covers delivering     precision clock data
to other 1588-enabled devices in an ethernet network, deriving timing from
a master clock source.
4.        Experience in automating low-level test cases, using TcL to drive
command-line tests of switch-based     implementation of the 1588 protocol.
Additional experience capturing data from test equipment such as frequency
   analyzers, oscilloscopes, IEEE-488 interfaces, is desirable.
5.        Exposure to include Ixia (w/ 1588 option), Symmetricom, Calnex,
and Anue

: 5-7 years

*Roles & Responsibilities*

1.        Perform low level embedded testing for HW/SW.
2.        Write C code or TCL code to automate unit level test cases
