*Job Title* Senior Network Engineer *Project Location* Chicago, IL *(Local only)* *Duration* 3 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI: TELEPHONIC + FACE to FACE* • Minimum 3 years work experience in a multi-protocol distributed computing environment. • Must possess deep, in-depth knowledge and experience of networking LAN, WAN, network securities (e.g., Firewall, Proxy’s, IDS/IPS) and wireless technologies. • Proficiency with network design and configuration of large-scale voice and/or data networking infrastructures (e.g., Routers, Firewalls, VPN’s, Servers, VOIP technologies, switches, telecommunications facilities). • Must have a solid understanding of distributed systems architecture and their operating systems in addition to network management systems. • Must have expert troubleshooting proficiency with voice and data infrastructure (e.g., Routers, Switches, and VOIP technologies) and network securities (e.g., Firewall, and IDS). • Must have expert proficiency with dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, and BGP). • Must be able to implement system management tools and processes such as HP Openview, TIVOLI, Cisco Works, Smarts, TACACS, and Netflow. • Must have experience working in a large, complex corporate environment supporting Cisco 2900, 6500, 7000, ASR, Nexus, ASA series devices, network architecture and design, detailed troubleshooting, network configuration, security, authentication and access management.
