My client has a job opportunity for *Wire Harness** design engineer* for their corporate office in* Warren, MI.* *Job Description:* *Role –Wire Harness** design engineer* *Location* – *Warren, MI* *Client: ** Capgemini* *Essential competencies * electrical/ electronic schematic design or mechanization design experience. Here mechanization does not mean mechanical design but it relates to designing of wire harness. It means people who understand how *the different network cables in any vehicles are to be routed using different EDS tools*. So people with schematic design and layout design would be more suitable for this experience *qualification: * Experience with electrical CAD programs, especially Mentor Graphics Capital. Experience using IBM Rational Team Concert. Understanding of electrical circuits, serial data networks and electronic components. Background with wiring and modules, software background not so important. Experience with GM systems a plus: documentation, technical specs, ICDs. Ability to communicate clearly with Design Release Engineers in order to clarify mechanization requirements. Excel spreadsheet competence.
