Front End Developer to be based in Atlanta. This is a 6 month contract. Please find the description of the position attached. *Need experience 9+ profiles* Please share resume and visacopy *Job Title of Position * (Refers to the job being described in this template) *Front End Developer* *Location* Atlanta, GA *Job Purpose* *(Why job exists)* The Front End Developer will plan, manage, and support activities and projects related to front end web delivery. The ideal candidate has experience coding in front end programming languages with past experience coding in *Sitefinity CMS*, and strong project management skills. *Primary Job Accountabilities/ Responsibilities * *Front End Development Support (60%):* 1. Tracks and tests new technology and new techniques. Establishes procedures to support research and development activities to determine the s 2. Assists with plans, procedures, and activities to support business recovery when problems occur. This task includes such things as backup and restoration procedures, vendor agreements, data retention and restoration planning. 3. Stays current with technological developments and best web practices, which involves reading publications, subscribing to Internet lists, attending conferences and workshops, and meeting with colleagues. *Web Product Planning & Scoping (40%):* 1. Develops and manages web development and support procedures, tools, and documentation. This includes writing scope documents, managing source code, and developing technical support standards and procedures. 2. Participates in all phases of projects including development, design, testing and production. This requires familiarity with Web programming languages (most importantly HTML/HTML5, JavaScript/Jquery, JSON, Ajax, CSS/CSS3, ASP.net) and Web support tools (such as Sitefinity CMS, Web Based AB/MVT testing tools). 3. Serves an advisor to internal stakeholders and ad hoc project committees. Works closely with business leads and project managers to coordinate information and activities. *Qualifications/Requirements:* *Basic Qualifications Required - Experience, Skills, and Knowledge* *Education*: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience as a front end web developer *Previous Experience:* - Minimum 5 years industry experience building client side applications utilizing HTML, CSS, JS/JQuery, AJAx/Json - Proven experience working with the ASP.net framework, utilizing a .NET CMS- *preferably Telerik Sitefinity* - A strong portfolio demonstrating past development experience- focusing on clean and efficient coding practices - Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with back end developers and designers - Comprehensive understanding of the current state of web technology and best practices - Strong practical knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, web-based information architecture and design - Ability to lead development effort from start to launch - Ability to work gracefully and have a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment - Experience managing 3rd party development vendors - Ability to create functional prototypes in HTML, JavaScript, CSS - Experience with agile/scrum - Familiarity with the technical considerations involved in designing for complex systems *Knowledge and Skills:* - Knowledge of: Effective Web design, Web development, web programming languages, Web technology, and a variety of software is required; management/supervisory techniques. *Other Requirements:* - Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive development concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization - An unfailing passion and capacity to advocate on behalf of our users - Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business needs, and customer expectations - The Lead Developer will be adept at leading projects, including teams of developers, as well as helping stakeholders through the functional web journey - You bring a strong work ethic, a relentless focus on the customer, demonstrated experience delivering the needs of the business, an unencumbered mind and experience building simple and intuitive interfaces for complex applications across multiple sectors (ecommerce, retail, SaaS, B2B, B2C) and devices - desktop, tablet, mobile (web & apps) - You are metrics and outcome driven. - You drive continuity and consistency in development across a range of devices and customers groups to ensure we exceed the customer’s expectations and meet the business’s goals *Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge* *Knowledge and Skills:* - Knowledge of: Relational database management, graphic design, information architecture and client management; budget and other financial documents to maximize department resources and maintain control over expenditures *Previous Experience:* *- Four years of technical experience working with Web applications, Web design, enterprise applications and relational databases. * *- At least one year of experience in a management or supervisory capacity demonstrating the ability to perform effective budget and vendor management.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
