Immediate need Mainframe Developer With IDMS/ADSO // Trenton, NJ // 6+ Months** Job Title: Mainframe Developer With IDMS/ADSO Location: Trenton, NJ Duration: 6+ Months Rate: $40/hr on C2C Face to Face interview required Job Discription: SSPR skill requirements A minimum of five (5) years programming experience using CICS/COBOL running on IBM Mainframes including at least two (2) years using COBOL 3. A minimum of five (5) years experience creating and executing programs using OS/JCL. A minimum of five (5) years experience working with IBM’s DB2 and in designing and coding using Structured Query Language (SQL) A minimum of five (5) years experience in application/technical support including mentoring,debugging, online and batch performance and tuning A minimum of three (3) years experience with legacy conversions including ADSO to COBOL,IDMS/DC to CICS and automated conversion experience A minimum of three (3) years experience in working with IBM’s MQSeries running on IBM Mainframes. A minimum of three (3) years experience with CA-IDMS – COBOL/DC, CA-ADSO, Logical Record Facility (LRF), Data Manipulation Language (DML), and CA-IDMS related tools (i.e., MAPC, ADSC, DME, ADSA OLQ, etc.) A minimum of three (3) years experience with APPC/LU 6.2 Undertake responsibility for analyzing system requirements and work flow analysis. Prepares design and programming specifications and codes program modules to produce operational application programs. Performs desk checking. Prepares test documentation and test programs. Checks coding to determine coding deficiencies and corrects them as necessary to produce an operable program according to the requirements. Prepares system control statements and utility parameters. Maintains application programs/modules as necessary. Must be experienced with the hardware, software languages, and utilities associated with the category. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English. Additional desired skills: Experience with Alteras factory converted code.
