*Business Analyst* *Maplewood, MN* *6+ Months Contract* *Job Description:* Client is seeking to engage a talented, technologically-savvy business analyst. You will be responsible for eliciting, specifying, and validating solution requirements for projects involving web and smartphone technology development with access to customer data. Additionally, you will be responsible for tailoring the requirements approach to the existing Agile software development process using Scrum. *Basic Qualifications* Minimum 5 years professional experience as a business analyst or programmer/analyst Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university *Preferred Qualifications* Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited university in technical, engineering or related field (Computer Science preferred) Demonstrated excellence in capturing business requirements, user needs, and system requirements (functional and non-functional system requirements) Demonstrated excellence in iterative requirements management processes and tools Demonstrated excellence in modeling data and processes Experience in analyzing and understanding business problems Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience with iterative methodologies such as the SCRUM methodology Exceptional consulting skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to give effective presentations to customers Prior training experience useful Knowledge in one or more software programming languages Business Analysis experience.
