Hi, *Title *Healthcare System Integration Consultant *Location * Santa Ana, CA/Basking Ridge, NJ/Eden Prairie, MN *Duration *Contract *Client *Optum Need *Green Card *only *Job Description:* *Type of work*: System Integration of various healthcare technology products (COTS and home-grown Optum modules) *Primary responsibilities: * - Provide or coordinate the development of enterprise level architectural artifacts that: depict current, transitional and future states, provide actionable guidance, and give stakeholders and client partners the visibility needed to proactively manage key technology investments, risks and initiatives - Provide thought leadership, guidance, road mapping and consulting services. - You will collaborate with Business Development stakeholders to understand/influence overall market business requirements - Demonstrate understanding of cross-functional/cross-domain requirements and impact - Provide integrated systems analysis and may recommend appropriate hardware, software, and communication links required to support IT implementation goals and strategy - Produce detailed component specifications and translate these into detailed designs for implementation using selected products - Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to architectural solutions geared towards the MMIS market, as well as overall System Integration of complex Government Enterprise systems - Ensure alignment of solutions to Clients’ Business and IT goals/objectives - Identify, quantify scope and impact, and solution for variations/gaps between existing Optum solutions and client requirements - Facilitate/lead/participate in identification of solution options to meet clients’ RFP/RFI requirements - Communicate solution options to business owners/stakeholders (e.g. architecture reviews) and document solutions in RFP responses - Incorporate software and system architecture (e.g. infrastructure, network) into conceptual designs - Ensure alignment with Optum enterprise technology standards (e.g. solution patterns, application frameworks, technology roadmaps, capital plans) - Maintain awareness of current technology assets and capabilities - Understand and adhere to Optum’s architecture Governance framework.
