For info, the project Missouri has been donated by IBM to the Free Standard Group. This project aims to offer cross-platform accessible APIs (Application Programming Interface) so that screen readers for example can easily gather high level info from running graphical applications. With such APIs, developers, companies will easily add accessibility in their software whichever the platform (MS-Windows, GNU/Linux,...). These new APIs are named IAccessible2.
