Hi, everyone. I am sending the same question in again, because I am not sure that the first copy went onto the list.
Recently, there was a message on here about someone who had tried out grml. I want to do this, but I am not sure how to make a cd of the iso image that will properly boot. I check everything out, and put in a disk and I have tried a couple of different command lines. I have tried: cdrecord speed=1 dev=ATAPI:0,1,0 grml_0.9.iso and: nice --18 cdrecord -eject speed=1 dev=ATAPI:0,1,0 -data -pad grml_0.9.iso Both of the command lines above result in disks that will not boot. In fact, readcd cannot even read them at all starting from sector 0. I hope this problem is not in hardware, but it sounds more and more like it might be. Would whoever did this successfully, please contact me off list? Thanks. -- Doug Smith: C.S.F.C. Computer Scientist For CHRIST!
