I was there about 5 years ago, though I haven't been to Lankester Gardens so I can't offer any comments comparing the two. I highly recommend a visit. It's a homestead in the jungle owned by a very interesting and hospitable American couple who have been there since the 70's or so. Very nice folks,

Viateur, Schroeder is the equivalent of Schrvder (with an umlaut on the "o", I'm not sure if this would display correctly on the list). Schroder (simple "o") in this case is a typo. The oe and v (with umlaut) are pronounced in the same way, the simple "o" is just pronounced as the letter "o". I'
