I was there about 5 years ago, though I haven't been to Lankester
Gardens so I can't offer any comments comparing the two. I highly
recommend a visit. It's a homestead in the jungle owned by a very
interesting and hospitable American couple who have been there since
the 70's or so. Very nice folks,
Hello Viateur,
Yes, I saw this one too... looks like the only one... and a little over my
head price-wise (225 euros!). :(
Perhaps I should go on a diet, stop buying other orchids, and wait for
Spring... but then, I have to order this before the WOC in Dijon... or ask

Hello Everyone,
I earlier asked whether Mexipedium is sold in commerce yet. I found out: yes.
Expensive, but Yes.
Also, I asked for sources within the EU. I forgot to mention, I will probably
be at the World Orchid Conference in Dijon March 2005 on the first weekend, so

Is there research about orchids conducted there or it is mainly a tourist

How does it compare to the Lankester Gardens ?

Viateur,
Schroeder is the equivalent of Schrvder (with an umlaut on the "o", I'm not
sure if this would display correctly on the list).
Schroder (simple "o") in this case is a typo.
The oe and v (with umlaut) are pronounced in the same way, the simple "o" is
just pronounced as the letter "o".
