Several Canadians purchased plants at the WOC in Dijon, only to lose them as the
result of stupidity, arrogance, or both..

The Canadian Import permit instructs the Vendors/ Agricultural authorities  what must
be stated in the phyto sanitary documents. One of them being that the plants must be
guaranteed to be free of the potato wart disease.

The French simply did not bother to read it, or they ignored it .When the Canadians arrived
with their orchids at Toronto International Airport, their plants were confiscated, for the
phyto sanitary documents did not state that the plants were free of the potato wart disease.

Hey, if you can't follow simple international administrative rules, don't offer to be the host of a WOC!!!
