That is why a list of literature recommended by a
"recognized taxonomist" would be helpful to all of us
who like to know a little more about the subject.

Peter,

what do you expect ... you want a beginners list ...

OK here we go

Introducing Biology
The Wold of Biology

Martius - Blora Brasiliensis
Hawkes - Encyclopedia of Cultivated orchids
Bechtel Cribb & Launert - The Maual of Cultivated Orchid Species
Heywood - Flowering Plants of the Wold
Grant - Plant speciation
Braem - Paphiopedilum

Braem - Cattleya 2
Cribb - Paphiopedilum

All Reichenbach fil's works on orchids
and all the orchid articles in other journals

when you are done with these ... let me know, then I will give you the follow-up list ...

it is not possible to give you a list for ans specific case ... you have to compile it yourself ... and if someone has not learned to do that, than that person should learn that first. You can't send a rocket to the moon if you don't know where the moon is.

Regards
Guido
