At the weekly Monday Dance in Nelson our open fiddle case is in the hall by the
door and the fee is only $3. Generally a smallish crowd. And we collect the
cash earlyish in the evening.

CDSS should maybe take on a coordinating effort to be a resource and clearing
house for ideas to engage others, older and especially young, even proactively
promote these efforts.
Related I wonder if there are any efforts to actively engage college students.

possible for someone to follow without “joining” which I assume means being
able to post, or to offer posts that are filtered until trusted? I know Google
Groups can do this.
