Contact your local library or school - offer a display and they may
also let you give away models to kids. As precious as they are, they
take up space and I have had many instances where, rather than sending
bags of fold to the bin, giving them away is a better alternative.

the instructions indicate how to colour the paper after folding guide
folds, there is no colour change

Perhaps consider a "sealer" spray - craft shops sell clear lacquer in
aerosol cans to stabilise, make water resistant and protect paper
surfaces - might work
alternatively, talc?

Alternatively, you could choose a term more descriptive of the form
"paper/folded sculpture" is closer to the actuality perhaps?
