The City of Ukiah, California has a monthly event called First Friday when the galleries, the local museum, the local library and some businesses are open to the public to display the work of local artists, craftspeople and demonstrate the various arts.

Ukiah is a 16,000 person city in a somewhat remote rural agricultural region of Central Mendocino County/Northern California.

First Friday has been and continues to be popular.

I have been asked to teach origami at the local library during First Friday in September. The model I want to teach is a basic 4 unit box designed by Tomoko Fuse. The library already has her box books so the public can check out the books if they want diagrams.

I plan to acknowledge Tomoko Fuse and her design with a sign and a display of her books from the library collection.

I would like receive her approval for teaching her design in this public venue.

How do I contact her for permission?

Thanks to all in advance.

Louise Yale in Central Mendocino County California
