Hi all,
Although we’ve received an enormous number of submissions for 7OSME (http://osme.info/7osme ), we also received several inquiries in recent weeks about extending the deadline. Consequently, the technical team has extended the deadline until December 22, 2017. If you would like to submit something, please do so by this deadline. Importantly: please pay attention to the submission requirements, here: http://osme.info/7osme/submission.html Specifically, (1) Use the template for your abstract! There are templates for both MS Word and LaTeX. (2) Make sure your abstract is no more than 2 pages! (It can be less than 2 pages, though we strongly recommend you use all available space to make a compelling case for your paper, which will be reviewed by the Program Committee.) If you previously submitted an abstract that did not use the template, or you submitted one that is more than 2 pages, please re-submit (go to your EasyChair submission and upload a replacement version, don’t create a new submission). Out of fairness to all authors and to be compatible with the printed book of abstracts, only abstracts that use the template and are compliant to the 2-page requirement will be considered for presentation. Abstracts are to be submitted via the EasyChair conference management system. See the Submission page for instructions. We still anticipate announcing acceptances by February 6. (We also still encourage people to start working on their full paper immediately, and not wait until Feb 6.) Regards, Robert J. Lang O/b/o the 7OSME Technical Committee
