Sorry for the really belated reply. It took Amazon 2+ months to fix the
situation. So now you will be able to pre-order from Amazon Germany if you
wish. I am writing to the list just in case the information benefits other
people in Germany.

There's been a discussion of machines making origami, here are my thoughts:

Even though I agree that FIGURATIVE origami is not just following a diagram
but completing the model and then adding your shaping, there are models
that are geometric like tessellations that just by putting the precise
creases you get a beautiful result and for that case I think a machine can
do better than a human.
