Thank you Gerardo- I reached out to Michel and he pointed me toward the bar envelope by Frances LeVangia(http://www.metteunits.com/EnvelopeDiagram.htm). Then I developed my own using the same locking mechanism for the bottom of the envelope. You can see what I came up with on my instagram here

Hi List, Some friends and I are attempting to start a regular origami meetup in Tampa, Fl beginning next month. I realize that consistency is a large factor in keeping a group going long-term. With that in mind we've scheduled to meet every third Saturday of the month at a local stationary shop.
