No, it isn't. There is a photo of one in the book 'Bauhaus: Weimar, Dessau, Berlin, Chicago' by Hans M. Wingler, MIT Press, 1969 and 1978, which shows a number of folded objects produced by students at the Bauhaus during the years 1927/8.
