Hi all,
I love the color variety and availability of kami but I've grown tired of
living in fear of it tearing when I fold even intermediate-complexity
models. Is there a stronger ready-made alternative to kami? What do you use
when you need a duo paper that's tougher than standard kami?
Thanks,
the end.

I repurposed an old phone(Pixel 1 XL) and microphone stand using the IP
Webcam app and OBS. Been teaching with it once a week and it's been a very
effective setup.

Hi List,
Some friends and I are attempting to start a regular origami meetup in
Tampa, Fl beginning next month. I realize that consistency is a large
factor in keeping a group going long-term. With that in mind we've
scheduled to meet every third Saturday of the month at a local stationary
shop.
Hi Lorenzo,
It's nice to see a fellow book collector. I've been building an origami
book library since I discovered origami books as a child. I'm nowhere near
3k, but I've garnered ~360 books and growing(not counting
pamphlets/magazines/etc). I too am interested in the modern evolution of

Hi List,
I hope everyone is enjoying the season! I was given an interesting origami
request from my brother-in-law. He's an artist in Belgium who has an
upcoming art show. As takeaways he is offering baseball card-sized
(2.5"x3.5") packs of his art. He asked me if I'd help him find an origami

Thank you Gerardo- I reached out to Michel and he pointed me toward the bar
envelope by Frances LeVangia(http://www.metteunits.com/EnvelopeDiagram.htm).
Then I developed my own using the same locking mechanism for the bottom of
the envelope.
