Jorge,
Thank you for the comment.
Too much paper was used in my first similar single piece design many years
ago. I taught the improved version this year. The diagram is in the
progress.

Happy Folding!

Hi,
I think there is a Dasa Severova's model called Dashu box in her book that is a
bicolor masu variation

It looks to me like a variation of Tomoko Fuse's Square Box base that is
published in several of her box books. There is one that looks like this in
her Fabulous Origami boxes book; Square box, body 3 (variation) on page 74.

[Origami] Are there more bicolor masu boxes?

2018-09-20 Thread Jorge E. Jaramillo
Hi

During OUSA 2018 Sy Chen was in the same suite I was and he was the roomate
of a friend. Sy gave my friend a present that was a bicolor masu box, my
friend and I unfolded it carefully and I learnt how to do it. I just folded
one that can be seen at http://www.flickr.com/photos/georigami/30919508778/

I think it is a clever model and I don't recall having seen it before. So
do any of you know if another model with these characteristics?

Also, does anyone have Sy Chen's email address? I checked his webpage but
could not find any contact information.
