Have you tried to run "oscar-config --setup-distro ubuntu-1204-x86_64" before
going to the bootstrap?

Try the new SystemImager
3.6.3ips version available here:
http://www.bcgsc.ca/downloads/oscar/systemimager
It appears that by default,
the SystemImager kernel for x86_64 did not have the ips driver built

HDs on your compute nodes? Or are you describing your
headnode?

SystemImager 3.6.3 (not released yet, but available below), it may be able to
