If you could give me some inputs on how you could hack/tweak the code to get
the co-ordinates and elevation displayed, I shall try it out.

Hi Chris,
I haven't built the database with geocentric option. I have used osgdem with -d
option and specified the terrain elevation file (.dt0) to create the osg
database.
