Re: [osg-users] Attaching Nodes (Characters & Objects)

Thanks to everyone's help, I have models that I exported loaded and animated
with models bound to various parts of their anatomy! Thanks for all the
advice and insight, I'm sure I'll be back with more questions at a later
date.

Re: [osg-users] Very simple Firefox-Plugin to display osg-files

2008-12-06 Thread Andreas Goebel

Hi all,

now I´ve installed Service Pack 1 for MSVC, rebuilt all, and still on
the other system the plugin fails to work.

I use MSys to get a console, and catch debug-messages, and it simply
states DynamicLibrary: Failed loading ...curl.dll.

I have checked all dependencies with Dependency Walker, everything is in
place.

How can this be?

[osg-users] multiple GPUs on windows?

2008-12-06 Thread Ferdi Smit

Hello,

How do I open a context on a specific GPU using OSG on windows (vista
64bit with 2 pcie cards)? In linux I can simply configure a second
screen using a different GPU by BusID, and then open a context on :0.0
or :0.1 (i.e. osg::GraphicsContext::ScreenIdentifier("", 0, 1). Anyone
knows?

Thanks for the wxWindows infomation.

2008-12-06 Thread Michael W. Hall
I would like the viewer, but I would just like to build the OSG Lib for
now. The configure button on the CMake GUI is not getting enabled. I
only assume that something is not right. Not sure what is missing. Is
there something in the CMakeList.txt file that I neeed to set?

Thanks for the reply,
Michael

well about an hour after my last post I found the new exporter you
mentioned, so bad on me for not doing more research before posting. now I'm
just brushing up my blender skills. Every time I export an animation and
load it in osganimationViewer It's just a static model with no movement, I'm
working on figuring this out right now, however any help would also be
appreciated. Thanks again for everyone's help.

Chris,

Not that it really answers your direct question, but have you tried looking
at a deferred rendering approach? With that many lights I would have thought
the performance benefits would be good.

Hi zhuwan the webmaster :-D,

Thanks. I have already contacted with Marco Jez and make sure the osgNV project
come back next week. A new version using OSG 2.7.6 and CMake system is just
imported to the sourceforge SVN server. And the osgNV website will be updated
soon after this weekend. Please keep an eye on it.
