Yes, OsmAnd displays a selection of details on each POI. The data you mentioned (phone, opening hours, website) are included. There are also many more, depending on object type. E.g. there is cuisine for restaurants or operator for some objects, or product sold and payment types accepted for vending machines.
Your problem may be the objects you have chosen do not have the data input by the OSM contributors.
