Could it be the map style? I'm noticing on an iPad that Topo and Offroad
(for example) don't seem to show the road numbers, whereas OsmAnd and
LightRS (for example) do.

Sorry, perhaps I'm stupid but were do you tap on "builds" ?
@Xavier:
Do you have experience with microG ? Is it in an useable state ? Will it
solve in its actual state the new problem of OSMand with GPS ?
Xavier
I've recently lost all road numbers! All the roads are shown but no
numbers, whatever the zoom level.
Everything else seems to be ok. Is there a setting to turn these on and
off. I'm in UK.

What, specifically, is missing from the F-Droid version?
I paid for OSMand, but with the versions 3.9.3, 3.9.4, 3.9.5 and 3.9.6

I don't understand your problem at all. I myself started out with the paid
version on Google Play. But now I tap on 'builds' and download the latest
version 'android full' just done so today (it's a 4.0 version)
I have all features of the paid version - no need for Google any more.

Harry, you know why I download OSMand from Google Play Store: I downloaded
a paid OSMand first time there and since this first download I'm a slave of
Google. Yes, I hate that (and many other peoples, too), but I can't change
that now. You also know, that F-Droid don't offers a complete

Yes, I just read Victor's reply on the issue. :)
Still: Why has it "suddenly" been deactivated/hidden?
But also: I used the dashboard relatively often as it is so handy. I did
not even miss it until Paul mentioned it. Strange how the human brain works
(at least mine ;) )

To manage main menu:
main menu / configure profile (use ANY profile) / UI customization / Drawer
If Dashboard is not visible it should be in the last list at bottom
"Hidden".
Use the green circle to reactivate.

Strange.
If I download the latest nightly build I still don't have a dashboard
option.
According to the help texts and blogs, it should simply be there. It is not
an option you switch on or off.
