Sometimes one has to reboot the device to see the change.
If you have a file manager installed (I like Totalcomander or MiXplorer
best)
go to /Android/data/net.osmand.plus/files
There you see the maps.

So as a tech challenged individual I was attempting to move my maps from
internal storage to the micro SD Card.
I thought I would look at the amount of data stored Internally before and
after. So then I went to Settings in Osmand and I see 2 External Storages. I
picked #2 as #1 was already
