alternative route

2016-09-20 Thread Boutss
Hello,

I calculate a route "20 place du ponttifroy 57000 metz france" -> "rue
costes et bellonte Marly 57155 france".

I have navigation service with OSMAND offline + rapid route but
he chose to go through the city center instead of the highway that is
faster !

I can not ask for an alternative path !

Google maps offer a solution for the Best :

https://www.google.fr/maps/dir/20+Boulevard+du+Pontiffroy,+57000+Metz/Rue+Costes+et+Bellonte,+57155+Marly/@49.1027969,6.1103534,13z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m13!4m12!1m5!1m1!1s0x4794dea5831c8499:0x88dc624f6254c18c!2m2!1d6.1777801!2d49.1268476!1m5!1m1!1s0x4794db83b30fdcc7:0x503ad13194aa0f55!2m2!1d6.1471966!2d49.0817472

How to do ?

Thanks you !

Yes, You are right. I can confirm this now.
If I remove my own routing.xml with the changed heuristic coefficient and
stick to the default builtin routing.xml of OsmAnd the blocking of the road
works.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Re: Recalculating alternative route

2016-06-23 Thread Peter B

I think I understand the reason of the problem: I have a routing.xml which
I downloaded seconds before the test with only thes change
"heuristicCoefficient" value="1.35" for defaultProfile="car"

If I remove the routing.xml from the directory (...net.osmand.plus\files) ,
everything works as expected, at the position of the blocked road i see a
traffic sign for construction, the part of the road is avoided.
If move the routing.xml back to the directory, there will be no traffic
sign, and no avoiding.
@hvdwolf <https://github.com/hvdwolf>: I know, you like the routing.xml as
I do, would you please be so kind to verify that?

Harry, I can confirm that, the blocking does not work on regional maps since

2016-06-21 Thread Harry van der Wolf
Hi,

I suddenly realised I use roads-only maps.

I immediately downloaded some province "full standard" maps (Netherlands)
and then the behaviour is different, but still completely wrong. It does
not take the blocked way out of the route. I can remove the road 10X after
each other but it will still use the road.

I filed a ticket: https://github.com/osmandapp/Osmand/issues/2738

Yeah, that's the theory.
In practice OsmAnd crashes when you do that. For me always.

About your GPX file:
are there only a few waypoints inside, or the whole track as real
precalculated trace / track?

And yes, you can block a road / way inside Osmand: as soon as you have a
route calculated by Osmand itself. Long-tap on a position, and choose that
option in the context menu,
Or choose the Navigation menu from the bottom left corner of the map screen
before having a route calculated.

Success?

Recalculating alternative route

2016-06-21 Thread Mark Herman
Hi,
I had this situation last week a few times:
I made a track in ROUTEYOU.COM and uploaded the .gpx file to my cellphone
with Osmand. Works perfect. Until I encountered that the road I was cycling
on was blokced. Couldn't cross a brigde. I had to change my route, but
Osmand wanted to route my everytime across the bridge which I couldn't
cross...

Question
Is it possible to tell Osmand that the roud (bridge) is closed and that he
has to calculate an alternative route not using that bridgde?

Thanks in advance,

Mark Herman
