Hi Agus,
Yes we have a public git repo for Monteverdi:
https://git.orfeo-toolbox.org/monteverdi2.git
Please look at Chapter 3 of the Software Guide for compiling instructions:
https://www.orfeo-toolbox.org/SoftwareGuide/SoftwareGuidech3.html#x17-260003

I've tried the linux standalone binary version provided in
https://www.orfeo-toolbox.org/download/
on my Debian testing machine
and does not work. Just get hundreds of lines such as:
./pkgsetup: line 31:
/home/alobo/Downloads/OTB-5.2.0-Linux64/tools/patchelf: cannot execute
binary file: Exec
Here you have it:
alobo@debi:~/Downloads$ ls -l *.run
-rwxr-xr-x 1 alobo alobo 70770532 Jan 14 11:07 OTB-5.2.0-Linux64.run
alobo@debi:~/Downloads$ ./OTB-5.2.0-Linux64.run
Creating directory OTB-5.2.0-Linux64
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Then I get hundreds of
./pkgsetup: line 16:
Maybe you could post the list and users could vote to help setting priorities?

In order to compile Monteverdi for Debian, is there a git such as for otb
or should I use one of the tarballs?
