[OTR-dev] Fosdem 2016 - Ticket Marathon

2016-01-14 Thread David Goulet
Hello OTR elves!

Fosdem 2016 is in ~16 days and some people on this list will be there. I
would like to suggest a meeting (if you want of course) to triage,
patch, and reply to tickets on our bug tracker.

I know, it's not an activity that "sounds fun" or is "very exciting" but
it's high reward in both having libotr being better! and potential of
many beers afterwards as a group with possible OTR discussions! :)

There are _27_ rooms this year so anytime is a wrong time for someone so
I'll try something. Feel free to improve it or let us know why you can't
join at that time and maybe we can change it.

Saturday 30th, at 15h00 at the K building near the info desk. I want it
to last not much than 1 hour so we can concentrate productivity :).

From there, we'll figure out a spot where we can sit and do this.

Informing this list will help us all know how much people might show up
and if none, I'll know not to show up either :).

Cheers!
David

Hello,

Excellent idea!

I'd like to join. It's hard to find (quiet) space at FOSDEM though
these days. We ended up sitting in the canteen at the OTR meet-up last
year.

See you all in Brussels.

Cheers,
Alex.

2016-01-14 Thread Meredith L. Patterson
If people are interested in doing an off-site meetup, I'd be willing to
host one. I have a large open-plan apartment with good access to public
transit; the only downside is it's on the west side of centre-ville, about
half an hour away from VUB.

Cheers,

I'll be around too! Still need to figure out lodgings though. Anyone has
a recommendation for a nearby hotel?
